It’s a bit chilly in Chesterfield this morning as we make final preparations for our LeJoG trip, only 3.5C outside with a howling wind and threats of snow. The forecast for next week is ‘wet and windy’, a good thing I fitted new wiper blades to Riley Blue yesterday though they are largely ineffective and have a tendency to lift off the screen at speed – Rain-X to the rescue!
Our thanks to those who have already donated to our chosen charities. If you haven’t yet done so, please dip into your wallet or purse and help us reach our targets.
Thanks also to Tony Parkes, Clerk of the Course at Crooked Spire Classic Tours who has promoted our trip and whose team have organised the Buckingham Insurance Tally Ho Tour that departs from Weston Park Hospital a week tomorrow, Sunday May 12th., we’ll be the first car away at 10:00.
Tony tells me there are still entries available for the Tally Ho so if you’re interested in taking part in your classic car please have a look at the Crooked Spire website: http://www.crookedspireclassic.co.uk
More later.
