Riley Blue and crew took part in a few autumn events including the Lincolnshire Sausage Rally on October 5th with the Lincolnshire Cooper Club.
Starting from the International Bomber Command Centre at Lincoln, the route snaked 100 miles through the Wolds past Cadwell Park to the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre at East Kirkby. Here we able to park almost under the wing of ‘Just Jane’, the magnificent Lancaster bomber owned by the Panton family, before returning to Lincoln for the trophy presentations though nothing for us on this occasion.
It had been one of the most enjoyable events of the year thanks to Chris Smith and his team but had a sad aftermath; the Lincolnshire Cooper Club would disband in March 2020.
