We’ve given some clues about our B-Road route but how many miles would we have driven from Land’s End to our destination at John O’Groats? The direct route is 874 miles but we be travelled further, perhaps much further.
Supporters of our cause guessed our total mileage; the closest would win our Le JoG Prize Package comprising:
A Riley teddy bear that travelled with us.
A road atlas showing the exact route we followed.
The road book we used on the trip showing all the tulip diagram directions.
A ‘Touring England’ board game.
Land’s End and John O’Groats souvenirs.
A photo of Riley Blue at the finish.
The winner:
Christine and Geoff James from Ashcroft Guest House in Haltwhistle whose guess of 1178 was the closest.
