Everything is looking good. We’ve successfully trialled a GPS tracker which will enable supporters to follow our route, in real time provided there’s a phone signal, if not we’ll upload it each evening.
We’ve also evaluated several GPS trip meter apps to help us navigate. They measure distance, speed and time so that we’ll know when junctions are approaching and hopefully will take the right one.
We’re planning to launch this website early in February then start a campaign to raise awareness for our trip and to publicise our two charities: Weston Park Cancer Charity and Chesterfield Royal Hospital Charity and the Just Giving pages we have set up for them.
