With the kind permission of Chesterfield Borough Council’s Town Centre Manager Andy Bond we were able to park Riley Blue in the market place this afternoon.
Within seconds people were strolling over to have a look and talk about the car and we in turn talked with them about our LeJoG fund raising drive.
They were all very friendly and keen to hear about what we were doing and our reasons; quite a few had similar first hand experiences of their own to tell us about.
Thanks to their generosity our fund raising increased by £35 – much appreciated!
